Day 3 of San Diego: The Del

We had gone to San Diego thinking that there would be sunshine. Silly us.

Wind, overcast skies and freezing water were the makings for our Spring Break.

However, despite the colder weather...it was hard to deny the beauty of the Hotel Del Coronado. Home to Marilyn Monroe's movie "Some Like it Hot" and the ghost of Kate Morgan, the Del provides a beauty and history like none other.

Plus, it was fun to see macho guys crying in the water because it was "freezing". Bonus.
